After arriving in Antequera, take some time to get acquainted with the town and the Andalusian region before beginning your journey.

You will begin the bike tour on the old railway line, which offers stunning views of the beautiful countryside, as we make our way to Lucena. This charming town is located in one of the most important olive oil-producing regions of the world, where the famous oil is pressed in the mills. You'll get to experience the rich culture and history of the area while enjoying a scenic ride through the countryside.

The inhabitants of this region are mainly involved in agriculture and are very traditional in their way of life, which is reflected in the towns you will pass through. Towns such as Cabra, Zuheros, and Dona Mencia showcase the rich history and culture of the region and offer a glimpse into the daily lives of the local people.

As you make your way towards Córdoba, the route leads us on almost empty streets, mostly hilly, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Along the way, we'll pass farms specializing in the breeding of fighting bulls, which enjoy a special reputation in Andalusia. Upon reaching Córdoba, you will have the opportunity to explore the witnesses of its dazzling cosmopolitan past. The Great Mosque, created by Moorish architects, is one of the most powerful Moorish buildings in Europe and a testament to the rich cultural history of the region.

Today’s route takes you through the capital of horse breeding, Ecija, where we'll have the opportunity to witness the magnificent horses bred in the region. Next, you will come across the once-important Franciscan monastery in Palma del Rio, from where the monks embarked on a journey to America to spread the word of their faith.

Today’s route follows a gently rolling landscape of fertile farmlands and offers stunning views as we make our way toward the historic city of Carmona. This city has remained unchanged for over 150 years, with its Baroque palaces, churches, and monasteries standing as a testament to its rich cultural heritage. As you approach Carmona, you will be greeted by its intact Moorish town walls, offering a glimpse into the past and a reminder of the city's importance throughout history.

The final day of your holidays will take you through the gently rolling plateau of Alcores, one of the most fertile agricultural areas in Andalusia. As you make your way toward Seville, you will pass through the historic city of Alcalá de Guadaira, which has been supplying Seville with bread and water for centuries. The city is considered one of the cradles of flamenco, and its rich cultural heritage is reflected in its architecture and traditions. Along the way, you will pass former haciendas of the Kingdom of Seville, now transformed into large farms that line the road. Your destination is Seville, where three of the most important operas are performed: Don Juan, the seducer; the cunning barber Figaro; and Carmen, the femme fatale, who lost her life somewhere between the tobacco factories and the bullfight arena.

As we say goodbye to Seville, you will depart from Andalusia filled with memories of stunning landscapes, rich culture, and unforgettable cycling experiences.
