Experience the beauty of the Andalucian countryside on a slightly easier day of cycling. You’ll pass olive and almond groves, a beautiful blue lake, and a climb through pine trees. Along the way, you’ll see the names of pro riders painted on the roads from the Ruta del Sol (Vuelta a Andalucia) race.

The final challenge of this tour. Prepare for the ultimate challenge of this tour as you ride up to Europe’s highest road bike climb. The Pico Veleta climb is 30 km long, with an elevation gain of 2100 m, and takes you into the thin air of the Sierra Nevada mountains. The stunning views will take your breath away as you pass the altitude sports training complex and the stage finish of last year’s La Vuelta. After reaching the summit, enjoy an exhilarating descent through Monachil’s lush green valley.

Join us on an exhilarating 5-day cycling adventure through the stunning Andalusian countryside, exploring Granada’s picturesque landscapes and scaling Europe’s highest road bike climb.
As you ride past the plains, you’ll be amazed by the ever-changing scenery, with the names of pro riders like Valverde and Contador still visible on the road from recent races.
The tour will take you toward the wonderful roads in the countryside favored by local Granada cyclists. You will encounter olive and almond groves, beautiful blue lakes, and a climb through pine trees that are certain to win your heart over. You’ll see the pro riders’ names painted on the road from the Ruta del Sol and get a chance to ride on the same roads that locals and even the pros regularly train on.
The tour’s final challenge is the Pico Veleta climb, where you’ll get to experience the Sierra Nevada Mountains, a UNESCO Biosphere reserve, and a much-loved national park of Spain. We’ll ride up to 2,500 meters, into the thin air of the mountains, and even higher if the weather permits. At 2,400 meters, we’ll pass an altitude sports training complex regularly used by pro teams and triathletes. At 2,500m, we’ll reach Alto de Hoya, a stage finish of last year’s La Vuelta.
Throughout the tour, you’ll be surrounded by stunning scenery, challenging climbs, and the thrill of cycling on the same routes as pro riders. You’ll get to see Andalusia from a whole new perspective and create unforgettable memories.
